The Nerdy Babysitter and His Selfish Model

Pulling the small little hat off of her head and shaking out her rich red hair, Skye tossed it on the ground and walked off the small platform she was on for her modeling shoot.

"Alen't you flee enough to watch the show completely?" She scoffed, slapping a man's head lightly, tugging him out of his sleep. Then, she grumbled as her little hand slipped through the tall gangly and awkward looking man’s fingers and spinning him around and tugging him along as she marched off to her dressing room.

"Skye, I think I had taught you how to spell 'r'. And didn't I told you about manners already...?"

Skye didn't answer. Immediately, she started undressing not even bothering to place the rack of clothes in the room between the two because it wasn’t as if Pircollet hadn’t seen it all before and vice versa. He had been her babysitter from the day she was born, so since she was pretty sure there wasn't much of a change, she didn't bother to be all alone in the changing room.

"Why didn't you watch me thele?" Her voice seemed too mature for a six years old girl, only if she spelled the 'r' in the right way. It had been something that had bothered Skye the entire time that she was working. Even if the camera didn’t see it, Skye’s focus had been solely on her sleeping babysitter the entire time.

"Uh, well, the modelling is going fine, so I think it's okay if I take a nap..." His voice trailed off when he saw the annoyed face of the girl and quickly added, "Or maybe not."

Her babysitter had always been following her, his eyes had always been following Skye's movements. Even though the two had only grown close as brother and sister, it had become such a part of Skye’s life that it was odd when it didn’t happen. She could now instantly tell when Pircollet wasn’t around or paying attention in the way that he would before.

The nerdy babysitter who would spend all his nights playing games rather than studying because he’d still ace the test the next morning whether or not he had studied and gotten enough sleep. The one that would roll out of bed, pull on whatever his hand grabbed from his closet, barely brush his hair and head out the door. That same nerdy babysitter would show up to all of the little girl’s gigs, big, small, important or not to show his support for her. Anyone would get used to such events and do a double check when it wasn’t happening anymore.

"Uh, well, later I'll watch?" He said softly.

Skye rolled her eyes, but pretty much annoyance in her eyes had disappeared. "Yeah, yeah. Help me now, I can't tie the libbons collectly..."

"It's 'ribbons' and 'correctly', Skye... Here, come here," he said, sighing a little as he tied the ribbons around her waist and and legs. "Lolita clothing style didn't fit you right."

"I know, light?" Skye pouted cutely. "This libbons and pink cutie didn't fit me! It's pitipul, you know..."

"Pitiful's the correct word, Skye. Now, now, do you want me to carry you?"

The sudden glint in her eyes made Pircollet laughed. He welcomed the hands that were reaching out for him and carry her easily. She was not heavy to begin with, and it seemed that her diet program is going on extremely well. He kissed her forehead softly and smiled.

"Thele's one mole shoot and it will be done. We will eat latel, light?”

“Yeah, yeah,” Pircollet grinned widely. “Now, tell me, I heard there’s a new kid coming for your next week modeling?”

Skye nodded. “Yes… Don’t ask me his name cause I don’t know. The manajel say that he’ll come aftel the shoot today.”

“Hmm…” he responded shortly as his left hand tightened the hug around the little girl while the other searched through all the papers of work offers on the table. “Okay, this boy is really new. He’s been in the agency for two weeks. His name is…”

Skye was already busy starring at Pircollet’s ever so soft face as he flipped through the tons of papers to get the name, both didn’t notice the sneakers that squeaked against the ground and the metal chair being pulled back.

“Erm, this is hard, too many papers here… You should get a new manager, you know…” Pircollet mumbled, scratching his head.

Skye adjusted her position in his arm and realized the view behind them.

“His name…”

“Pilcollet…” the small girl’s hand tugged the arm around her frantically.

“Yeah?”

“Tony Sunnyvale.”
