Imaginary Notes part 6

Drama players only partied with drama players.
An arm was thrown casually across Sebastian's shoulder, a small crowd--consist of Grimsby, Reo, James, Lizzy and Vanz--suddenly gathered around him as he was exiting the dance studio. They are talking about the party that will be held that night, he didn’t really have the time to. He has early exam tomorrow.
What? Well, he never really skips a party before. Usually he will go wild, so people would start paying attention to him. It works eventually, and he get tons of additional new friends there.
“Senior Sebastian, we’ll have a party tonight,” James said joyfully, “You comin’?”
“Nah, I'll skip,” he said. He didn't care for it; whether it was strange or not to avoid the party with the fact that he really like it. He didn’t really have the time to party and honestly, he didn’t feel to have one.
Not tonight.
For once.
Vanz eventually looked up from her five centimeters science book and stared at him—it seemed that she caught those words through the headphone. She furrowed her eyebrows and sighed.
“Damn it,” Grimsby said. “That means Vanz's not coming, either.”
“She said that?” Sebastian raised an eyebrow.
“She loves you,” Lizzy joked, doing the one arm hug crap to Vanz, which Sebastian clearly see that Vanz didn’t like it from the way she chewed the straw of her drink.
"Manners," Vanz mumbled scarily and Lizzy backed off, apologizing for her tease and hug.
“She loves everybody,” Sebastian said nonchalantly.
It was the truth.
It felt like the truth.
“Nobody can love everybody,” Grimsby remarked.
“She's just like everyone’s lucky charm,” Sebastian pointed out—something that truly wrong to be deny.
“Yeah, you haven’t seen her dru...” Lizzy’s voice was cut by Reo.
“She says you're her lucky charm," Reo said.
Vanz chocked, but still looking at Reo angrily.
"Senior Vanz says you're her lucky charm," he corrected his words a bit.
“That's just because she hasn't tried fitting me in a pocket yet,” Sebastian joked, but Lizzy's grin made the joke turn against him again. Before she even said it, he knows. That’s just who she is. That's just what every friend he got from Vanz will do.
“You want to be in her pocket?” She asked mischievously.
“Oh, shut up...” Sebastian said, and went, and didn't really think about it.
“Tomorrow we’ll make another party. Come, will ya?” Grimsby cried out, “Please?”
Sebastian glanced at Vanz. She stared at him. He stared back. She was staring emotionlessly; her eyes suddenly looked rather alike with her pale skin.
"Please?" James and Lizzy plead.
Sebastian rolled his eyes. Fine. “Yeah, yeah, I will.”
Next day when he partied—they partied--he noticed how Vanz stayed by his side, trying to get his attention by the almost forgotten touch and hugs; jokes and chats. He noticed how Vanz become famous and special though, but she maybe still sticks to his side.
It's okay, right? It's...
Wait, wait! Why was he thinking like this?!

The performance of Vanz ended well, and somehow Vanz looked really kingly up there, while he watched from the audience seats. This is the first time he saw her performance--that was the first time he wasn't in the same stage with her--and it brought him down to chill. She has a really good talent in acting.
And plus, her ability to play the piano for the last scene—it was about her being one that giving the last music to her dying father—was extremely good. It was like everything was in the song, the sadness, the tears, the feelings were really represented by the music she played. She was just as good as he was.
In the car after the show, Vanz sits next to him. They don't talk—not to each other, just everybody else around them—and Vanz's hand slowly slips into his.
It's weird.
She didn't let go, though.
